Springfield, MA - Clippers get stung by Yellow Jackets
The Concordia College Lady Clippers faced off against the American International College Yellow Jackets in the AIC Classic. With the game underway the Clippers quickly found the Yellow Jackets controlling the game from the very beginning. The Clippers struggled through out the first half as they were unable to make their shots fall. At the end of their first half the Clippers were down 38-15.
The Clippers turned their game around in the second half behind the lead of Dana Rommel who put up 13 points in the game. Working together the Clippers were able to battle it out with the Yellow Jackets but in the end it just wasn't enough to over take them and the Clippers fell; 70-42.
Along with Rommel's 13 points, she added 6 rebounds. Brittany Binnie topped the defensive end with 8 rebounds while Amanda Eggink put up 8 points and 5 rebounds.
The Clippers will next face off against Nyack College on January 7th.
