Clippers take 12th in meet as runners improve
The Clippers women's cross-country team headed out to Brookville, NY to race at the C.W. Post Invitational. As each of the Clippers came in with their times three of them improved over a full minute and gave the team the push for their 12th (out of 14) placement.
Liz Garcia came in first for the Clippers as she posted a 26:10
run for herself. Yodit Gemeda
improved her time from last week over two minutes coming in with a
26:50 5k run.
Cristhal Carrero stepped up her race as she improved her time almost two minutes coming in third for the Clippers with a 28:04 race.
Kenisha Master boosted her time a minute as she came in at 29:02 for the race.
Rita Boateng and Leans Mohabir rounded out the Clippers line-up as they finished 38:24 and 39:45 respectively.
The Clippers will hit Philadelphia next, as they will run at the Belmont Plateau next Saturday, September 25th.
