Kings Point, NY - The Concordia College women's cross country team competed in the 2008 East Coast Conference Women's Cross Country Championships at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Point, NY.

The Clippers top finisher was junior Emily Ringelberg (Pinetop, AZ), who finished the 5k race in 23:07.58. Sophomore Lizdely Garcia (Pawling, NY) crossed the finish line next for Concordia with a time of 27:19.22.

Junior Cristhal Carrero (Tuckahoe, NY) came in at 30:34.37, while Dyamond Garcia (New York, NY) and Stephanie Jean (Spring Valley, NY) finished at 38:09.03 and 38:44.43, respectively.

Concordia finished the 2008 East Coast Conference Cross Country Championships in 8th place out of 8 teams with a total time of 2:37:54.63 and an average time of 31:34.93. Adelphi University captured the title with a total time of 1:42:57.22 and an average time of 20:35.45.
