Clippers fall in three to Dominican in first CACC match-up
Bronxville, NY - Clippers fall to Dominican in first CACC match-up
The Clippers hosted the first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game for Concordia against Dominican College.
The Clippers struggled with the ball through the first set. As Dominican ran the score up the Clippers nerves started to show. The Clippers dropped the first set.
With set two underway the Clippers showed no more nerves on the court and battled with Dominican. The Clippers produced 8 kills for the set but unfortunately Dominican dug in and stole the set away.
Set three found the Clippers continuing to work hard on the court
and battle with Dominican. But Dominican went on a couple of
service runs and defeated the Clippers in three.
Olivia Thompson and Courtney Hanson each had 4 kills for the match. Amanda Margadent had 8 assists while Amanda Byrd dug up 6.
The Clippers will head to Bloomfield College on Thursday, September 17th for a 7:30pm game.
