Philadelphia, PA - Hanson leads Clippers offensively but not enough to take down the Tigers
The Clippers headed down to Philadelphia yesterday to take on the Holy Family University Tigers. The Clippers worked hard in the first set defeating the Tigers 25-17.
With an unfortunate change of momentum the Clippers dropped the next set, 25-14. The Tigers were able to build on that change of fortune for themselves as the Clippers worked to get it back. The Clippers fell in the third set giving the Tigers the 2-1 lead. The Clippers continued to work hard but were unable to tie the match up and the Tigers took the match.
Courtney Hanson led offensively with 9 kills. Amanda
Margedant contributed 13 assists and four digs while Amanda Byrd
had seven digs and three aces.
The Clippers take a one game conference break to play Queens College on Tuesday, October 6th.
