Rutherford, NJ - Clippers work hard but just miss to Felician

The Clippers traveled to Felician College for a CACC match up tonight.  The Golden Falcons of Felician took an early lead in the first set but the Clippers slowly but surely climbed their way back into the game.  The Clippers however couldn't cut the lead the Golden Falcons held and dropped the first set 25-20. 

The second set saw the same struggles for the Clippers as they had to fight their way back into the set.  Working hard the Clippers could only once again come back so much and the Golden Falcons stole set two.

The Clippers continued to work hard in the third set.  At two different points in the set the Clippers were able to climb back within one point of the Golden Falcons.  The Golden Falcons though pushed back and won the match.

Olivia Thompson led offensively for the Clippers with 9 kills followed by Courtney Hanson with 7 kills in the match.  Amanda Margadent added 24 assists to her resume. 

The Clippers will host Caldwell College this Thursday, October 1^st at 7:00pm.
