Bloomfield, NJ - Hanson kills seven but Clippers fall to Bloomfield

The Clippers volleyball team continued their CACC season with a match at Bloomfield College yesterday.  The Clippers worked hard through the first set as they battled well with the Deacons.  The Clippers unfortunately over take the Deacons with the offensive plays and dropped the first set 25-17. 

The second set started with the Deacons going on a 13-0 scoring run.  The Clippers fought their way back through the set but were unable to catch the Deacons.

With good serves coming from Amanda Margadent the Clippers were neck in neck with the Deacons for the third set of the match.  The Deacons came back strong and overtook the Clippers for the final set of the match.

Freshman Courtney Hanson led the team offensively with 7 kills for the match as Amanda Margadent had 10 assists and 3 service aces. 

The Clippers will next host Nyack College on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 7:00pm.
