Volleyball Ends Season With a 3-0 Loss to NYIT
Old Westbury, NY - The Concordia College volleyball team ended their 2008 season with a 3-0 loss to the Bears of the New York Institute of Technology last night in Old Westbury, NY.
Concordia was led by freshmen Amanda Margedant (La Habra Heights, CA) and Alicia Oberle (Savannah, GA), who pounded down 5 kills each. Freshman Juliann Gillespie (Clarkston, MI) had a team high 10 digs and senior Radayza Montas (Bronx, NY) finished with 8 digs. Freshman Jaymee Wise (Irvine, CA) collected 14 assists, 7 digs and 2 service aces for the Clippers.
The Bears were led by Dena McKinney's 11 kills and Rebecca Lowe's 9 kills. Katie Hoffman registered a match high 20 digs and Emily Seyers had 30 assists.
The Clippers conclude the 2008 season with an overall record of 2-25 and an East Coast Conference record of 0-16.
