Volleyball Splits Two Matches in New Hampshire

Box Score vs. Southern New Hampshire University

Manchester, NH - The Concordia College volleyball team split a pair of matches this weekend, falling to the Ravens of Franklin Pierce University 3-1 and downing Southern New Hampshire University Penmen 3-1. The remain an even 4-4 on the season with the split. reshman Maddy Lorenz (Spokane, WA) continues to pace the Concordia offense, leading the Clippers with 14 kills against FPU and 11 kills against SNHU.  Senior Tiffany Edwards (Baytown, TX) finished with 18 kills in the two matches. Freshman Amanda Byrd (Clarkston, MI) led the defense with 16 digs in each match.

 

For Franklin Pierce, Caitlynn Parnell had a match high 19 kills and Chelsie Kohout finished with a match high 25 digs. For the Penmen, Brianna Doucet tallied a team high 10 kills and Kristin Wilson led the defensive charge with 8 digs. Kelly Scanlon and Nicky Dumond combined for 29 assists for the match.

Concordia will return to action on Thursday, September 13th, as they host the Cougars of Caldwell College at the Meyer Athletic Center. First serve is set for 7:00 PM.
