Clippers Race Past Greyhounds 3-0

Juniors Cindy Eckard (Woodstock, VA) and Tiffany Edwards (Baytown, TX) both turned in solid hitting performances as the Clippers defeated the Greyhounds of Assumption College 3-0 yesterday at the Meyer Athletic Center in Bronxville, NY. Game scores were 30-20, 30-20 and 30-16. Freshman Kristina Bennett (Simi Valley, CA) set the Clipper attack, registering 41 assists on the night.

The win improves Concordia's record to 7-15 overall. The Greyhounds fall to 11-12 overall.

Concordia will look to qualify for the East Coast Conference Tournament this week, as they host two conference foes this week. First up for the Clippers will be the Flyers of Mercy College on Tuesday, October 24th, followed by the Molloy College Lions on Thursday, October 26th. Both matches will begin at 7:00 PM.
