Concordia was edged, 5-4, as the Lightning captured the CACC Regular Season Championship.

    BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Concordia College freshman Katrina Sta Cruz (Las Vegas, Nev.) of the women's tennis program had the privilege to participate in the United States Tennis Association’s (USTA) East Coast Leadership Retreat during the summer. Sta Cruz was an intern at the USTA – Nevada District for the last two years while in high school and was one of the recipients selected to attend the USTA meetings in New York City.

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Concordia College women's tennis program has been chosen to finish 2nd after the 2017 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Tennis Preseason Coaches' Poll was released on Monday morning. The voting was conducted by the conference's nine head coaches as Concordia received 63 points and four of nine first-place votes in the poll.

The Rev. John Arthur Nunes, Ph.D., President of Concordia College, and Director of Athletics Kathy Laoutaris made the joint announcement on Friday afternoon.
