Clippers nab top spot in CACC Women's Tennis Preseason Poll

The Concordia College Women's Tennis Team grabbed the top spot in the 2010 CACC Women's Tennis Preseason Poll. The poll is conducted every year before the season and is voted on by the women's tennis coaches in the CACC.

The Clippers return to the courts for the 2010 season as the defending CACC Champions.  With CACC Rookie of the Year, Ola Roberts leading the squad, the Clippers are ready to repeat.  The Clippers also return with second team All-Conference selections Adeline Brennan and Yuliya Plevako.  Other returners include Camilla Xavier and Maria Ortiz, out of the 2009 season starters. 

The Clippers notched other wins from the 2009-2010 season with a trip back to the NCAA Sweet 16 after their East Regional wins over conference foe Holy Family University and Stonehill College.
