Bronx, NY - Clippers defeat Division I Fordham University

The Clippers headed down the street to face off against an NCAA Division I school, Fordham University.  The Clippers started off with the doubles as they would take two out of the three.  Doubles pairs Cristina Oliveira and Ola Roberts defeatee thir opponents 8-1 as Maria Ortiz and Yuliya Plevako, at #2 odubles took their match 8-3.

The Clippers worked hard in the singles and were able to hold their lead as they took three of six singles matches.  Oliveira, at #1 singles cruised with a 6-1;6-0 win.  Roberts, at #2 singles followed suit with a 6-2; 6-1 win.  Yuliya Plevako held court herself at #3 singles with a dominating 6-0; 6-0 win. 

The Clippers continue to be undefeated as they head into tomorrow's match with rival Queens College.
