The Clippers improved their record for the season with a comfortable win over the C.W. Post Pioneers. A positive start for the Clippers saw a clean sweep of wins in singles competition. Highlights of the singles included 6-0 6-0 wins recorded at number 3 and 6 singles by freshman Yuliya Plevako and Camilla Xavier respectively. In total the Clippers dropped only 8 games in their entire singles matches.
With a win recorded by default for the number 3 doubles team, it
was left to the number 1 doubles team of Oliveira and Roberts and
the number 2 team of Ortiz and Plevako to seal the perfect victory
for the Clippers. With wins of 8-1 at number 1 doubles and 8-3 in
number 2 doubles, the Clippers finished with a 9-0 overall score.
This takes the Clippers record to a 6-0 overall and they remain at 5-0 in the CACC.
