Queens, NY - Clippers win streak snapped by Queens
The Clippers headed Queens College to face off against an old rival. The doubles matches were up first for the Clippers. Maria Ortiz and Yuliya Plevako earned a win in the doubles with an 8-6 score.
With the singles on their way the Clippers found themselves behind
in points 2-1. Cristina Oliveira continued to stay victorious
in her singles matches with a three set win over her opponent, 1-6;
7-5; 6-0. Ola Roberts dominated at #2 singles with a 6-2; 6-0
win. Yuliya Plevako and Adeline Brennan pushed their
opponents to three but were unable to nab wins.
The Clippers drop to 11-1 overall before heading into the CACC
semifinals against #4 seeded Philadelphia University on Tuesday,
October 13th at 3:00pm.
