Clippers Earn CACC Sportsmanship Award in Women’s Soccer
New Haven, CT – The Concordia College Clippers women's soccer team have been named the recipients of the 2011 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Team Sportsmanship Award. The announcement was made today from the league office after voting was completed by the 13 coaches for the annual awards.
Concordia finished the season accumulating five yellow cards and zero red cards. The Clippers recorded the fifth fewest cautions this season as they finished with a 2-13 (0-11 CACC) record.
Senior Kareena Seaton (Medford, NY) was also named an Honorable Mention in this year's voting. Seaton finished the year as Concordia's top defensive player, playing a pivotal role for the Clippers all season long.
