Orangeburg, NY - Women's Soccer falls in CACC opening game against Dominican College
The Women's Soccer team traveled west to face off against their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference opponent Dominican College.
For the first half of the game the Clippers stayed with the
Chargers of Dominican. By the end of the first half the score
would stay at zero for both sides but the Clippers out shot the
Chargers 6-4.
The Clippers started the second half continuing to shoot the ball well but saw Dominican score first. The Clippers would then see the Chargers score two more times before the end. Despite the Clippers out shooting the Chargers 13-10 overall were unable to find the net and dropped their first conference game, 0-3.
Iyesha Ollivierre and Kenisha Masters each had two shots on goal while Jen Stefankiewicz nabbed two saves for the game.
The Clippers will next travel to Dowling College on Thursday, September 17th at 7:00pm.
