Bronxville, NY - Valencia scores lone goal in match with Cougars
The Clippers faced off with the Caldwell College Cougars today. The Cougars came out strong against the Clippers scoring in less than a minute of the game. The Cougars stayed on the attack throughout the rest of the first half, scoring three more times as the Clippers struggled with the pressure.
The second half was a different ball game for both teams as the
Clippers were able to hold off the Cougar attack. With
the momentum slowed for the Cougars the Clippers were able to find
a way to score. Susan Valencia got a free kick from 25 yards
out and put the ball right off the left post and in for the
goal. The Clippers struggled for the rest of the game to
score another goal and fell 4-1.
The Clippers will play Holy Family University this Saturday, October 24th at 12:00pm in Philadelphia, PA.
