Clippers Announce 2009 Women's Soccer Schedule

Bronxville, NY - The Concordia College women's soccer team has announced their 16-game schedule for the 2009 season. Holtdorff Soccer Field will play host to 7 contests this fall, 5 of which will be Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) games.

The Clippers will begin the 2009 season in Takoma Park, MD against the Pioneers of Columbia Union College. Concordia defeated the Pioneers 4-0 last season in Bronxville, NY. The Clippers will have another road, non-conference match-up against the Lions of Molloy College before opening play at Holtdorff Soccer Field on Saturday, September 12^th against Goldey-Beacom College.

Concordia will also host Bloomfield College and Chestnut Hill College during the month of September. In October, the Clippers will host Post University and Felician College in CACC match-ups and Queens College and St. Thomas Aquinas College in non-conference action.

The CACC Women's Soccer Tournament will begin on Tuesday, November 3^rd and will be hosted by Wilmington University in New castle, DE. The winner will receive an automatic berth into the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Tournament later that month.
