Women's Soccer Falls to STAC 3-0

Bronxville, NY - The Concordia College women's soccer team was defeated by the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College 3-0 yesterday at Holtdorf Soccer Field in Bronxville, NY. The loss drops the Clippers to 4-11-1 overall and 0-7-1 in the East Coast Conference. St. Thomas Aquinas improves to 3-11-2 on the year and 1-6-1 in conference action.

 

 

Katherine Dapolito scored the first two goals for the Spartans. The first goal came in the 19th minute and the second goal in the 66th minute. Ashley Nevins capped off the scoring in the 83rd minute to make the final score 3-0.

Junior Kenisha Masters (Queens, NY) finished with 5 shots for Concordia and freshman Kareena Seaton (Medford, NY) added 3 shots. Junior goalkeeper Aileen Alvear (Woodhaven, NY) finished with 3 saves for Concordia. Cynthia Campion registered 9 saves for the Spartans.

Concordia will return to action on Wednesday, October 29th, as they travel to Flushing, NY to face the Knights of Queens College in an ECC contest. The game will begin at 3:30 PM.
