Concordia Falls to Lions 9-1

Lakewood, NJ - Junior Dani Davies (Croydon, England) scored her second goal of the season as the Clippers fall to the Lions of Georgian Court University 9-1 this afternoon in Lakewood, NJ. With the loss, the Clippers fall to 4-8 on the season. Georgian Court improves to 7-6-2 overall.

The Lions got on the score board early in the first half on a goal by Skyler Eiceman, who finished with 2 goals. Kelly Lyons totaled 4 goals for Georgian Court, 2 in each half. Katherine Gooch finished with 2 assists for the Lions.

Junior Kenisha Masters (Queens, NY) got the assist for the Clippers, her first of the season. Masters leads the Clippers with 3 goals and an assist on the year. Junior Aileen Alvear (Woodhaven, NY) finished with 4 saves for Concordia.

The Clippers will travel to Dobbs Ferry, NY on Tuesday, October 14th to take on the Mavericks of Mercy College in an ECC match-up. The game will start at 4:00 PM.
