Clippers Picked 7th in North Division of CACC Women's Basketball Pre-Season Poll

The Concordia College Clippers Women's Basketball team was chosen to finish 7th in the North Division of the CACC according to the CACC Women's Basketball Pre-season Poll.  The poll is conducted every year before the season and is voted on by the women's basketball coaches in the CACC.

The Clippers finished the 2009-2010 season with a 1-26 overall record and a 1-18 record in the CACC.  The Clippers only win last season came on January 19th against the Post University Eagles. 

The Clippers return three players from last year's squad; Seniors Amanda Eggink and Shelley Monahan along with red shirted freshman Sara Steltzer.  Along with the returners the Clippers add 11 new players to the court.  Adding on to the players the Clippers welcome a new coach to the bench, John DeSio with assistant coach Jenifer Jules. 

The Clippers look to be a competitive force on the court in the 2010-2011 season.  The Clippers will open their season up as they head to Southern New Hampshire University on November 13th for a 6:00pm game.
