Lady Clippers play tough but Chargers come out on top
Orangeburg, NY - Lady Clippers play tough but Chargers come out on top
The Concordia College NY Lady Clippers traveled to Dominican
College for another bout in the CACC. With the Clippers
continuing to improve they looked to take their game to the next
level as they started the game with a 7-0 scoring run. The
Clippers maintained a small lead through most of the first half but
the Dominican Chargers pressed their way back into the game
tightening the reins. With time ticking the Clippers pushed
themselves to hold the smallest of leads as they headed into the
locker room.
With the Clippers barely holding a lead the Chargers quickly took over in the second half. The Clippers attempted to regain the lead but they found themselves plagued by turnovers and fouls. The Chargers held their reins and the Clippers fell to the Chargers 56-65.
Dana Rommel led the offensive movement for the Clippers with 17
points as Shelley Monahan and Brittany Binnie each put up 13.
Rommel, joined with Kasey Grisanti and Kayla Koch each nabbed 6
boards.
The Clippers will head to Bloomfield College this Saturday, December 12th for a 1:00pm game.
