Bronxville, NY - The Concordia College women's basketball team was defeated by the Lions of Molloy College 92-72 yesterday afternoon in East Coast Conference action at the Meyer Athletic Center in Bronxville, NY.

Junior Dana Rommel (Staten Island, NY) led all scorers with 24 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for Concordia. It was the 5th straight game in which Rommel has led the team in scoring and also leads the conference in scoring, averaging 19.1 points per game. Sophomore Amanda Eggink (Red Hook, NY) and freshman Jessica Zielske (Boca Raton, FL) each added 12 points. Eggink also pulled down a team high 8 rebounds. Junior Brittany Binnie (Middletown, NY) and freshman Kayla Koch (Kings Park, NY) each finished with 8 points.

The Lions featured a balanced attack with 5 players reaching double digits, led by Kymira Woodberry and Tatiana Lopez, who each finished with 17 points. Woodberry also collected a game high 14 rebounds. Clarissa Jones chipped in 14 points and Jenna McLaughlin added 12 points. Katelyn Dunn finished with 10 points and 7 rebounds.

The loss drops the Clippers record to 2-6 overall and 0-2 in the East Coast Conference. Molloy remains perfect on the season at 5-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

Concordia will face the Dowling College Golden Lions on Wednesday, December 10th at the Meyer Athletic Center beginning at 5:00 PM.
