Women's Basketball Inks Recruit

Bronxville, NY - The Concordia College women's basketball team has added a top recruit for the 2008-2009 season, as announced by the Athletics Department.

Kayla Koch, a point guard from Kings Park High School in Kings Park, NY will join the Clippers this fall. Koch finished her career at Kings Park as the schools all-time assist leader. The 5'-9" point guard also finished her career as the 3-point field goal leader in school history.

Head Coach Bob DiNardo says "Kayla is the kind of quality player, quality student-athlete and quality person that will fit in perfectly in our program." Coach DiNardo also states "Kayla is one of the best passers at the high school level that I've seen in a very long time. She is the kind of player who makes the players around her better. She's unselfish and has a great attitude."
