Rams Bury Clippers 77-49

Philadelphia, PA - The Concordia College women's basketball team was defeated by the Philadelphia University Rams 77-49 last night at the Gallagher Center in Philadelphia, PA.

 

 

Sophomore Dana Rommel (Staten Island, NY) had a team high 12 points for the Clippers, to go along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Sophomore Brittany Binnie (Middletown, NY) was point away from a double-double, finishing with 9 points and a season high 10 rebounds. Danielle McLaughlin (Staten Island, NY) and Gianna Zonghetti (Garrison, NY) chipped in 9 points and 8 points, respectively.

For the Rams, Jessica Romano scored a game high 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Ashley Webster also notched a double-double, scoring 11 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Amanda Brennan scored 19 points and Martha Lupinski finished with 9 points and 4 steals.

The loss drops the Clippers overall record to 0-15 on the season. The Rams improve to 10-6 overall.

The Clippers will look to get on track this Saturday, January 26th, as they travel to West Haven, CT to face the Chargers of the University of New Haven. Earlier this season, the Chargers defeated the Clippers 100-63 back on November 28, 2007 at the Meyer Athletic Center. The game will begin at 2:00 PM.
