Clippers Fall to Skyhawks
Easton, MA - The Concordia College women's basketball team was defeated by the Stonehill College Skyhawks 108-38 today in Easton, MA. Junior Danielle Bacon (Levittown, NY) led Concordia with 10 points, 2 rebounds and 3 steals. Freshman Dana Rommel (Staten Island, NY) scored 6 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and blocked 3 shots. Danielle McLaughlin (Staten Island, NY) chipped in 8 points for the Clippers.
For Stonehill, Megan Methvel knocked down 7 of 9 shots in scoring a game high 18 points. Kim Morast and Caitlin Kennedy each added 16 points and Bethany Tighe and Daryl Cioffi each chipped in 13 points.
The loss drops the Clippers record to 0-5 on the season. The Skyhawks improve to 5-0 on the season.
Concordia will try to pick-up their first victory of the season
as they jump into East Coast Conference action. The Clippers will
travel to Sparkill, NY on Wednesday, November 29th to face the
Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College. The game will begin at 5:30
PM.
