Karagiorgos to Named All-Met Division II Women's Basketball Team
Senior forward Pam Karagiorgos (Norwalk, CT)
was named to the All-Met Division II Women's Basketball First Team.
The team was announced by the National Invitational Tournament and
the Met Basketball Writer's Association. Carlyshia Hurdle of
Adelphi University was named player of the year, averaging 15.6
points per game and 8.1 rebounds per game.
Karagiorgos led the NYCAC in scoring at 16.9 points per game and
was third in rebounds at 9.2 rpg. The senior was also second in
blocked shots at 1.41 bpg and minutes played, averaging over 36
minutes per contest.
