Chargers Surge Past Concordia 94-56

West Haven, CT - The Concordia College women's basketball team was defeated by the Chargers of the University of New Haven 94-56 last night in West Haven, CT. Senior Vanuza Pereira-Bravo (Brussels, Belgium) scored 8 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Freshman Brittany Binnie (Middletown, NY) led the Clippers with 11 points. Danielle Bacon (Levittown, NY) and Danielle McLaughlin (Staten Island, NY) each chipped in 9 points.

The Chargers were led by Alanna Zahora, who scored a game high 19 points. Tristan Jackson added 18 points and Ashley Hilton chipped in 14 points.

The Clippers record falls to 0-17 overall and 0-10 in the East Coast Conference. New Haven improves to 13-4 overall and 8-2 in the East Coast Conference.

The Clippers will return to the Meyer Athletic Center on Saturday, January 27th to host the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College. The Clippers fell to the Spartans 62-36 back on November 29th. The game will begin at 1:00 PM.
