Lions Down Clippers

Brookville, NY - The Concordia College women's basketball team was defeated by the Molloy College Lions 70-28 in Brookville, NY. Senior Vanuza Periera-Bravo (Brussels, Belgium) scored a season high 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Freshman guard Brittany Binnie (Middletown, NY) added 8 points and hauled down 5 rebounds.

For Molloy College, Tatiana Lopez scored a game high 17 points and Clarissa Jones added 15 points. Kymira Woodberry chipped in 9 points and 10 rebounds.

The loss drops the Clippers record to 10-14 overall and 0-7 in the East Coast Conference. Molloy College improves to 7-6 overall and 3-3 in the East Coast Conference.

Concordia will be back in action on Wednesday, January, 17th, as they travel to Bridgeport, CT to face the University of Bridgeport Purple Knights in ECC action. The game will begin at 5:00 PM.
