D'Amico Named CACC Player of the Week in Softball

New Haven, CT – Angela D'Amico has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week in softball for the week of Mar. 12 - Mar. 18.

The Old Bridge, NJ native led the Clippers with eight hits and three home runs in a 3-1 week. She batted .615 and had a slugging percentage of 1.462 in 13 at-bats. D'Amico also had a spectacular diving catch during Sunday's doubleheader against Chestnut Hill.

D'Amico and the entire softball team will be back in action this Tuesday afternoon as they will host conference opponent Post University. The doubleheader is set to begin at 3pm at Clipper Softball Field on the campus of Concordia College.
