Clippers Softball picked for 5th in 2011 CACC Pre-Season Poll

The Concordia College Clippers Softball team was chosen to finish 5th in the CACC according to the CACC Softball Preseason Poll. The poll is conducted every year before the season and is voted on by the softball coaches in the CACC.

The Clippers finished the 2010 season with a 22-17 overall record and a 17-9 CACC record. The Clippers return 13 players from the 2010 season including First team All-CACC outfielder Alexa Rosella, who is also a starting pitcher for the Clippers, Second team All-CACC shortstop Jaime Lorenzo and Honorable Mention Catcher Victoria Pisciotta. The Clippers notched two CACC tournament wins before being knocked out in the race for the Championship.
