The Clippers struggled at the plate as they only get three runners on the bases through the entire game.  Jaime Lorenzo was on base twice, once with a walk in the first inning and a bunt single to first base in the fourth.  Alexa Rosella knocked a double to left field in the bottom of the seventh to give the Clippers a shot at tying the game but the Lions shut the Clippers down.

With game one a just miss at 1-0 for the Clippers, game two was another chance at the Lions.

The Clippers called upon Jillian Maselli in game two and Maselli was able to get through the first two innings with no damage done.

The Clippers unfortunately continued to struggle in game two at the plate against the Lions pitcher.

The Lions attacked in the third and scored a couple of runs to take the lead.  The Clippers tried to work back in the fifth inning with back to back singles up the middle by Angela D'Amico and Theresa Magnani.  With two runners on the bases the Clippers unfortunately could not get anyone in.

The Lions continued to score and held the Clippers at the plate.  The Clippers fell in game two 6-0.
