Rosella and Lorenzo named to CACC Softball All-Tournament

Alexa Rosella and Jaime Lorenzo were named to the CACC All-Tournament Softball team.  Lorenzo and Rosella led the Clippers Softball team this past weekend in their playoff quest. 

Alexa Rosella pitched two games during the teams four game run picking up a win in their first game against Georgian Court.  Alexa also hit 4 for 14 through the four games.  Through the entire season Alexa is second on the team in batting average, hitting .352 includin 38 RBI's and 12 doubles.  Rosella also pitched in 19 games starting in 18 of them with an ERA of 1.88 overall. 

Jaime Lorenzo hit 6 for 15 through the tournament with 14 put outs and 11 assists. Lorenzo has led the Clippers throughout the year as she leads at the plate with a .439 batting average, a .618 slugging percentage, and a .504 on base percentage.  She has recorded 8 doubles, 4 triples, and 2 home runs with 21 RBI's and 36 runs scored while racking up 105 assists with 84 putouts.
