Softball Senior Dana Imbrogno
What do you look forward to in your senior season?
To win more games than all of my three years combined and to play to my potential.
Who is your favorite softball player and why?
That's a really hard decision because everyone on my team is awesome to play with. I feel that Ashley Spose is one of the best all-around players that I have ever played with. She is always mentally prepared and focused and she never puts herself before the team.
Do you feel that it helps to be a student-athlete in college?
I don't have a lot of extra time between school and sports so it makes me get all of my work done.
How do you prepare for a game mentally?
Mentally, I try to think about all of the different situations that could happen and what I would do during the game.
If you were a softball coach, what advice would you give to a young player who is struggling at 3rd base?
To be confident and not get down on yourself. Always stay focused because the one time you don't pay attention, the ball will come to you.
What advice are you going to give your teammates once you graduate?
To never let your teammates drive your car, even if you love them a lot. I am going to miss them a lot. They keep me young. I love them so much.
