Bronxville, NY - Breanne Gleason pitched two complete games for the University of New Haven, as the Chargers swept the Clippers 12-0 and 10-5 today at Clipper Softball Field in Bronxville, NY. Gleason allowed 8 hits and struck out 9 batters in the 2 games.

 

 

Sophomore Sondra Noer (Sunnyside, NY) picked up 2 hits and 2 RBI in the second game. Julie Walsh (Bellerose, NY) also collected 2 hits on the afternoon. Sophomore Kelly Moran (Carmel, NY) pitched 3 innings in game 1, giving up 13 hits and striking out 1 batter. Moran falls to 2-7 on the season. Senior Julianna LaBella (Mamaroneck, NY) took the mound in game 2, surrendering 15 hits and 7 earned runs. LaBella's record drops to 4-5 for the season.

The Clippers conclude the 2007 softball season with an overall record of 11-17 and an East Coast Conference mark of 5-15.
