Men's Cross-Country finished 22nd in Philly Metro

The Clippers men's cross-country team raced for the first time this season at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia, PA.  With 25 competing schools in the 31st Annual Philadelphia Metro Small College Championship the Clippers ran well and finished 22nd. 

James Ebersole finished first for the Clippers with a time of 37:35 on the multi-hilled course.  Martin Miedzowicz followed Ebersole six spots later as he finished the course with a time of 38:01.

Corey Grosskopf came in third for the Clippers with a 38:40 8k course time.  Kenny Gaskins was next to finish as he posted a time of 40:13.  Alex Grubin came in fifth for the team as he finished with a time of 40:44.

Michael Valdovinos came in next for the Clippers at 44:08.  Finishing up for the Clippers was Chris Thompson and Troy Young as they came in with times of 52:41 and 53:22 respectively. 

The team will head back to Philadelphia next Saturday, October 2nd to face the tough course once again for the Belmont Classic.
