Clippers continue to improve as they race at the Highlander Invitational
The Clippers men's cross-country team hit the course once again, this time at the Highlander Invitational in New Jersey. The Clippers finished 15th overall as each improved their times.
James Ebersole continued to improve on his times as he led the Clippers for a fifth straight week. Ebersole improved his 8k time by almost three minutes coming in at 33:10 this week.
Corey Grosskopf finished just seconds behind Ebersole this week. With a time of 33:13 Grosskopf improved over three minutes.
Kenny Gaskins stepped up and finished third for the Clippers as he improved from last weeks time by over two minutes. Gaskins raced in at a time of 34:48 for the 8k.
Michael Valdovinos came in next for the Clippers as he finished with a 37:20 run. Chris Thompson and Troy Young rounded out the Clippers line-up for the meet as they finished almost back to back with times of 40:29 and 41:39 respectively.
The Clippers will return to cross-country courses as they run at the St. Joseph's College Cross-Country Invite on Saturday, October 23rd.
