Clippers open 2010 Cross-Country Season at Fordham
The Clippers men's cross-country team opened their 2010 season as they raced at Van Cortlandt Park this past Saturday at the Fordham Fiasco.
With the a new coach and new runners the Clippers hit the course for a 5 mile run. Alex Grubin, former men's tennis player, finished first for the Clippers as he came in with a 35:49 run. Freshman James Ebersole came in right behind Grubin with a 36:42 run. Martin Miedzowicz was just two seconds behind Ebersole coming in third for the Clippers. Troy Young finished fourth win a time of 36:59. Phil Mangerino and Michael Valdovinos finished out the Clipper roster with times of 43:21 and 43:51 respectively.
After the meet the team score was posted and with 392 points the Clippers finished in 13th place.
The Clippers will run next Saturday, September 18th, at the L.I.U. C.W. Post Invitational.
