Ringelberg and Malave are Top Clipper Runners at St. John's Fall Festival
Queens, NY - Sophomore Emily Ringelberg (Pinetop, AZ) and freshman Carlos Malave (Bellport, NY) were the top runners for Concordia at the St. John's Fall Festival at Cunningham Park in Queens, NY.
Ringelberg ended the race with a time of 17:05, placing her in 35th place out of 64 runners. Freshman Kasey Gisanti (Bronx, NY) was the next Clipper to cross the finish line at an even 24:00.
For the men, Malave finished with a time of 19:14, good for 44th place out of 76 runners. Senior Bol Riiny (Winchester, MA) came in not too far behind, with a time of 19:51, placing the senior at 48th place. Senior Michael LaVoie (New Rochelle, NY) ended up in 61st place with a time of 21:19.
The Clippers will run in the East Coast Conference Championships
on Sunday, October 21st at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, NY.
