Coach Tarangioli joined the Concordia coaching staff in 1978 after a successful Tennis & Squash career at Fordham University. He played varsity for both sports all 4 years. He was voted MVP for Tennis in 1973 and in 1977 and the MVP for Squash in 1977. He served as captain of both teams in his senior year. He received a BS in History.
Neil was the assistant coach for 2 years and then became the head coach of the Men's Team in 1980. While at the helm of the Clippers's program, Coach T has led the team to 14 appearances in the NCAA National Championship, five to the "Sweet 16". He has also led the Clippers to 17 of 19 NYCAC/ECC Conference Championship and has been selected NYCAC Coach of the Year 14 times. He has also been honored by the ITA as the Division II East Region Coach of the Year in 2005, 2007, and 2008.
During his tenure at Concordia his teams have won over 400 matches and won numerous Invitational Tournament. The Clippers have been ranked number 1 in the Northeast Region for the past 5 years and ahve been top 15 for the 15 years. The Clippers are currently ranked #9 in the Nation in NCAA Division II and advanced to the Semifinals of the NCAA National Champioship in 2009!
Coach T has been a 20 year member of the USPTA and was selected Member of the Year in 1996. He has served on the ITA Ranking Committee for 4 terms, Chairman once. Her served 3 times on the ITA Awards Committee and numerous Tournament committees. He just finished a term on the NCAA National Championship Selection Committee. As Coach Tarangioli says of his volunteerism, he learned from his Jesuit days at Fordham Prep & Fordham University the importance of "giving back!"
Coach T recently celebrated his 25th Wedding Anniversary. His wife is an RN and Supervisor for the Intensive Care Recovery Room at the Montefiore Medical Center. Their oldest son is a Junior at Boston College and their 2 daughters play soccer and lacrosse at Bronxville High School.

Daniel Rockhill begins his 10th season as Assistant Coach of the Clippers. Daniel received his undergraduate degrees from Concordia College in 1990 and graduated from New York Medical College in 1998. Daniel is a practicing clinician in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He is also an active volunteer with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. In 2009, Daniel was recognized by the ITA as the Eastern Assistant Coach of the Year.
While playing for the Clippers, Daniel was ranked 9th nationally in doubles (1990), served as team captain (1989-1990), and is the only player in NCAA Division II history to win both singles and doubles Conference Championships in the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference and the Metropolitan Collegiate Tennis Conference in the same season (1990).
"Daniel is a phenomenal recruiter" according to Coach Tarangioli. "His background helps him accurately evaluate prospective student athletes and he is able to attract very talented players to Concordia from all over the world."
Coach Rockhill continues his family coaching tradition as his father, Dr. Ronald H. Rockhill, guided the Clippers from 1965 - 1968. In addition, Daniel's mother, Esther Petzke Rockhill, was a decorated athlete and coach for Concordia during the 1960's. In an effort to recognize her impact on students and athletics, the athletic department annually awards the Esther Petzke Rockhill honor for excellence in women's athletics.
