Clippers head to NCAA Tournament

The Concordia College Women's and Men's Tennis teams are heading to the NCAA Division II Tennis Tournament.  The Clippers teams earned their way through the season as they both were dominate with perfect Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference records and bringing each their first CACC Championship home. 

The Clippers Women's Tennis team makes their third appearance in school history after proving a dominate year with a 15-1 record on the year.  The Clippers look to move further into the tournament as they made it all the way to the quarterfinals in 2009.  The Clippers are led by Cristina Oliveira, who has been dominate in singles as she has stayed undefeated throughout the year. 

The Clippers will take on CACC foe Holy Family University, who the Clippers defeated in their only match up of the year 9-0, in the first round on May 6th at Stonehill College in Easton, MA.

The Clippers Men's Tennis team makes their 14th appearance in the NCAA Tournament.  The Clippers who made it all the way to the Semifinals last year and placing 4th overall.  The Clippers completely dominated the CACC in their inaugural year with a perfect 12-0 record.  With an overall 22-3 record on the year the Clippers are being led by Alex Grubin and Andrey Boldarev.  With Grubin and Boldarev veterans of the tournament the team will look to them for their leadership. 

The Clippers will take on Adelphi University in their first round on May 6th at Queens College in Queens, NY.
