First up, on Monday, for the Clippers was the #2 ranked Barry University.  The Clippers hit the outdoor courts for the first this 2010 season as they faced off with Barry.  The doubles matches were up on deck for the Clippers to start the match.  The Clippers played tough but unfortunately dropped all three of their doubles matches.

With singles up next the Clippers tried to refocus themselves.  Andreas Lindell came away with the Clippers only win in the singles section with a 6-7 (3-7), 7-5, 10-8 win at the #6 singles spot.  With just the one win the Clippers dropped to Barry 1-8.

Tuesday brought the Clippers to face off against the #1 team in the country, Armstrong Atlantic.  The Clippers improved from the previous day with capturing two wins during the match but fell overall 2-7.

Alex Grubin was the singles winner for the Clippers against Armstrong Atlantic with a 6-2, 1-6, 10-5 win.  Alex also won with doubles partner Andrey Boldarev in doubles with their win of 8-6.

Wednesday, the Clippers squared off with #16 Flagler University.  With a much needed win to turn their week around the Clippers fought hard and claimed victory with an 8-1 win.  Andrey Boldarev was victorious in straight sets with a 6-3, 6-0 win at #2 singles.  Raphael Namias defeated his opponent 6-4, 6-1.  Tamas Dobrotka dominated with a 6-2, 6-3 win.  Felix Missal doubled up with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at the #5 singles spot.  Andreas Lindell earned his second win of the week with a 6-2, 6-0 crushing victory.

Boldarev teamed up with Alex Grubin to defeat their doubles opponent 8-5.  Lindell and Dobrotka held a break to beat their #2 doubles opponents with an 8-6 win.  Namias and Missal took a double break win with a score of 8-3.

Thursday was the last of the Clippers days in Florida as they faced off against #4 Embry Riddle.  The Clippers fought tooth and nail against Embry Riddle.  With Andrey and Alex winning 8-4 in #1 doubles followed by Andreas and Tamas taking the 8-3 victory, the Clippers were up 2-1 over Embry Riddle after the doubles.

Andrey Boladrev pushed his #2 singles match to three sets and was victorious with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 win.  Raphael Namias also won in three with scores of 6-3, 1-6, 6-4.  With just one more victory the Clippers would have pulled an upset.  Tamas Dobrotka won his first set 6-3 and matched it in the second set for the victory.

The Clippers will now take a small break before heading back into competition as they host Fairleigh Dickinson University on March 25th.
