Concordia Dominates ECC S & D Tournament
Flushing, NY - The Concordia College men's tennis team swept through the competition at the East Coast Conference Singles and Doubles Tournament this past weekend at Queens College in Flushing, NY. The Clippers captured championships in all 6 singles flights and all 3 doubles flights.

The Clippers enter the spring semester as the top ranked team in the East Region and the 14th ranked team in the Nation, according to the latest poll released on November 12, 2007 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Grubin is the #1 ranked men's tennis player in Division II, fresh off of his victory in the ITA Small College National Singles Tournament last October in Mobile, AL. Molet also ranks among the nation's elite Division II men's tennis players. The junior is currently ranked 47th in the country and 3rd in the East Region. Teixeira, Azovtsev and Ruenz are ranked 4th, 6th and 11th in the East Region, respectively.
The Clippers will return to action on Tuesday, March 4th, as they travel to Winter Park, FL and take on the Tars of Rollins College. The Tars are currently ranked 10th in the latest ITA poll. First serve will begin at 2:00 PM.
