Craig Wilkinson was named Head Men's Soccer Coach in March 2011.
Wilkinson comes to Concordia with five years of coaching experience, 3 years with Dominican College where he served as the Associate Head Coach. During that time, Dominican won the CACC once and went on to the National Tournament two times. "Every year we had a winning record and was always one of the hardest teams to break down defensively," states Wilkinson.
During Wilkinson's coaching career, he also moved to Long Island where he served as the Assistant coach for the Men's soccer team at Suffolk County Community College where we were eventually ranked 2nd in the nation, the highest the college was ever ranked.
This past season Wilkinson joined the coaching staff at Centenary College and looked to pursue his Masters Degree in Athletic Management.
In his first year as an Assistant, the team finished with 10-9-1 record and made it to the semi-finals of the CSAC tournament. This was a four game improvement from the previous season and they also finished with the Team Academic Award from the NSCAA
"I have always been a part of winning team and that is a tradition I am looking to continue while working at Concordia College. One of my goals is to bring passion to the field from the players and the supporters. I want our games to be exciting for everyone watching and you will all see Concordia becoming one of the top teams in the conference. We will be striving to be one of the most discipline & aggressive teams you will watch. I want the pride back at Concordia College," states Coach Wilkinson.
