NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Concordia College sophomore goalkeeper Jaime Gonzalez (Madrid, Spain) has been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Soccer All-Conference Second Team as announced by the league office on Monday morning.
Gonzalez was named to the CACC All-Conference Second Team for the second straight year as he ended this season with a 1.76 goals against average which was 8th-best in the conference. His 83 saves this year were 3rd-best in the CACC while his .776 save percentage was 4th overall in the league. Gonzalez only allowed 24 goals this year in 14 games which was 6th-best in the CACC while his two shut outs were 8th overall in the conference.
In NCAA Division II, Gonzalez is currently ranked 11th in saves per game (6.38) while his 83 saves has him ranked 16th overall in the nation. His save percentage is 58th overall in DII while his goals against average are 137th overall.
The Clippers ended the season with a 4-10-1 overall record while finishing with a 2-9-1 record in conference play.
