Clippers Shut Out 2-0 by Dominican (NY)

Orangeburg, NY – The Concordia College Clippers men's soccer team continued their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule as they visited Dominican College (NY). The Clippers were unable to find the back on the net as the Chargers won 2-0 for their seventh win of the season.

Dominican was able to score their first goal of the game in the 10th minute off a goal from Pedro De Araujo (Campinas-SP, Brazil). It was not until the 51st minute that the Charger's other goal would be scored. Sony Narro (Stamford, CT) maneuvered his way into the Clippers' box and found the back of the net to give Dominican a 2-0 lead.

Paul Wavell (London, England) recorded four saves as the Clippers' goalkeeper while Brandon Heembrock (Ottawa, Canada) made three saves. The Chargers outshot Concordia by a margin of 25-8.

The Clippers (2-11-0, 2-6-0 CACC) will host Felician this Saturday, October 22th for a 12pm match. The game will take place at SUNY Purchase and directions can be found at the Clippers' men's soccer schedule on ConcordiaClippers.com.
