Camerlingo Selected 2nd Team All-CACC
Will Camerlingo, a senior from Blairstown, New Jersey, has been selected to the All-CACC 2nd Team for Men's Soccer.
Camerlingo is a two year member of the Clippers soccer
program. A leader on and off the field, the goalkeeper
racked up 23 saves in 5 games during his first year as a
Clipper. Will then returned to the pitch in his second year,
healthy, and started in 13 games while boasting 95 saves on the
year including posting a game high save tally of 15 against
Dominican College.
Will leads the CACC in saves per game with an average of 7.31 saves a game. He also sits in the top three in total saves and in the top ten in shutouts. In addition of his rankings in the CACC, Will is also ranked 5th in the country on the NCAA Division II Saves per game list and 10th in the country on the NCAA Game High Saves list.
"Will is a good player with good character who showed himself as a tough competitor and as a team leader on and off the field. This honor is well deserved for Will. It was my honor to coach him for the past two years at Concordia NY and to call him a friend," stated Head Coach Giuseppe (Joe) Pennetti.
