Two Clipper Freshman earn CACC Weekly honors
The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) named their first weekly honors today. Two Clipper freshman earned weekly honors.
Marco DiNello, grabbed the CACC Rookie of the Week honor for Men's Soccer for the week ending September 6th. DiNello, a back-up goalie for the week tallied 155 minutes in goal for the Clippers 0-1-1 start to the 2010 season. DiNello allowed just one goal in those two games while notching 12 saves.
On the other end of the pitch, Bridgitte McCalla earned the CACC Player of the Week honor for Women's Soccer. McCalla tallied three goals in her first two games as a collegiate player. Her first two goals notched the season opener win for the Clippers and added her third goal of the season against Le Moyne.
