Waterbury, CT - Clippers fall to Post in tough night time game

The Clippers headed north to Waterbury, Connecticut as they faced off against the Post University Eagles.  The Clippers headed onto the field to work but soon found out that they were matched-up with a tough Eagles team. 

The first half saw the Post Eagles go aggressive as they stayed on offense.  The Clippers unable to get many shots off fought hard to keep the Eagles from scoring.  Guilherme Ferreira worked his magic in goal as he was able to save four in the first half.  With the score at zero both teams headed into halftime.

The Clippers continued to work hard in the beginning of the second half but the Eagles were the first to score.  As time ticked on the Clippers continued to fight back and attempt to score but the Eagles were the lucky ones and took the game. 

Guilherme Ferreira was able to save five total for the night. 

The Clippers will take on Wilmington University this Saturday night in Delaware.
